Brad Carmical
Brad Carmical obtained a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas. He spent five years studying genomics as a research scientist at The University of Texas at Galveston. Mr. Carmical joined Sigma Aldrich as a gene expression scientist in 1999, where he began his career in business development. In 2007, Brad became the Director of Global Business Operations at ADME Quant Bioanalytical Services, a division of Azopharma Product Development Group.
Dr Colin Crowley
Dr Colin Crowley joined Azopharma Product Development Group as Director Business Development Europe in 2008. Colin is a PhD chemist with over 15 years industrial and academic laboratory and managerial experience in discovery, analytical, CMC, formulation and bioanalytical sectors.
Gregory Downs
Greg Downs is currently the Executive Director of Global Business Operations with AVIVOClin Clinical Services, a division of Azopharma PDG. Mr. Downs has been with the Azopharma team for over 41/2 years serving as one of the founding team members of the Business Development group and helping to grow the corporation to what it is now. Greg has over 12 years experience in the contract pharmaceutical industry ranging in roles from clinical pharmacy support, research and development chemist, business development, executive management and clinical operations. Greg obtained his BS in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences as a Pre-Med student at Campbell University.
Dr. Todd M. Stark
Todd M. Stark is currently the Global Business Operations Director for IQsynthesis, a division of Azopharma. Dr. Stark has expertise using parallel synthesis technologies and experience in both early and late- stage medicinal chemistry programs. Prior to joining IQsynthesis, he worked for Albany Molecular Research and has over 8 years of experience running experiments, managing projects and maintaining customer relationships in a CRO environment. Dr. Stark received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles and his B.A. in Chemistry (Biochemistry emphasis) from Northwestern University.
Dr. Kevin M. Kane
Kevin M. Kane is currently Executive Director of Technical Services at Azopharma, having joined the company in late 2005. With more than 14 years experience in solubilization, formulation, and synthesis and characterization, Dr. Kane has previously worked in Hewlett-Packard’s Drug Delivery program and with contract R&D firms in the Pacific Northwest on drug formulation and process development. Dr. Kane holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Ohio University and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Chemistry from Texas State University, San Marcos.
