Azopharma Product Development Group Announces Opening of a New Facility in South Florida
MIRAMAR, Fla., -- Azopharma Product Development Group, Inc. (“Azopharma”) announced today the opening of a new facility in South Florida. The new 22,000 sq. ft. facility is home to Azopharma’s formulation development services, small-scale manufacturing, development services and specialized analytical services. The expanded facility allows for small scale manufacturing from 30 Kg to 50 Kg. The new facility also houses Azopharma’s new drug delivery company, ApiCross Drug Delivery Technologies which was launched at the 2007 AAPS Meeting & Exposition. According to Phil Meeks, CEO of Azopharma, “Our new facility allows us to expand our service offerings and take on larger scale projects to meet the needs of our pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device clients.”
